    Google Adsense into CGI Script

    I am not looking for a freebie.

    I want to add Google Adsense Javascript code into my wwwboard.pl cgi script so that the Adsense code will print automatically into the cgi-html (source code) produced pages generated when people make a new message post at my web-site forum.

    The Google Adsense Javascript code is pretty simple – see example below. I want it to be automatically inserted into the html pages (source code) that are generated on-the-fly by the (Matt Wright) wwwboard cgi script.

    I will pay you if you can do this. Here’s the Google Adsense Javascript code (example).

    <center>
    <script type="text/javascript"><!--
    google_ad_client = "pub-X95X52X01X49X53X";
    google_ad_width = 728;
    google_ad_height = 90;
    google_ad_format = "728x90_as";
    google_color_border = "CCCCCC";
    google_color_bg = "FFFFFF";
    google_color_link = "FF3333";
    google_color_url = "999999";
    google_color_text = "000099";
    //--></script>
    <script type="text/javascript"
    src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
    </script>
    </center>

    Although this can be done easy enough, I am fairly confident that without an added append tag (Google will supply this) added to your code tag you will see many 'public ads' versus 'keyword relevent ads'.

    Our team ran in to this issue with this type setup and we now contact Google for their direct input and added code to include in their code to show more relevent keyword ads than 'public ads' on pages using frames, or CGI-BIN route paths.

    Ray, thanks for the tip.

    I'll give it a test. If resulting Google ads are not relevent or are public, I'll contact Google for help.

    Thanks,

    Indy
