Problem, IIS does not run properly for ASP.Net on VS 2003. have run teh fix IIS util, and every thing in documentaiton, and when ever you attempt ot create new, or open an ASP.NET appliciton, VS hangs then crashes. Have disabbled Macfrees, adn IIS Is still unresponsive. History: Machine had Home addition Build of XP, installed VS to create teh original problem. Updgraded to Pro, added IIS, reinstalled VS, no fix. Uninstalled, VS and installed 2003, ran fix, still same problem. As of now only possible solution is to nuke the machine, and start form scratch. Any ideas???

Are you up to date on your service packs ?
Check the MSDN site because someplace they mention an order that the application/service packs have to be installed.

    Mr Speed,

Thanks for the feedback. I'm pretty sure that my buddy who loads the stuff I am clueless about has done all the updates but I'll check with him just to make sure. Thanks again
