I am planning to build my site with ASP. In a process of learning ASP, till now doing ok. Just a quick question, if I make my site with ASP and use the datafeeds do I still need to know PHP as well? I am asking this as in all the datafeed forums I have seen everybody suggests to learn PHP.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I prefer php. There are millions of resources readily available.
Often, you will be able to find complete scripts for free. More often, you will find the information you need to make your own scripts.

> millions of resources readily available

> complete scripts for free

Those are just two of the reasons it's better.

I would go with PHP it's easier to learn too.

If you decide to go with PHP (which I highly recommend) check out this tutorial:

I found it really helpful when I was learning.
