I built my own search box for my site and it works pretty good. Here is the code:

    Search form to place on your site:

    A small script to do the search and redirect
    Upload this code to your sever and name it search.php and be sure to change the SAS affiliate ID (u=XXXX) to your own.

    <?
    header("Location: http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=17968&u=XXXX&m=4970&urllink=www.krookedstix.net/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=$search&afftrack=");
    ?>

    You can use this same format for other merchants as well if their search results url is a friendly one that you can redirect with.

    Hope this helps

    Chet,

    Thanks for pitching in.

    Tremendous, to be able to create a search script like that on the fly...

    I did this is my result was:

    "Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/jdsguam/www/www/search.php:7) in /home/jdsguam/www/www/search.php on line 8"

    What do I need to change?

    Your search.php should only have one line so I am not understanding why you have an error on line 8...

    - chet

    I had the same response myself! Is the line 8 error on their database side? My php is in fact only one line. Oh well...

    Make sure there are no blank lines above the header line. If it is within the <? ?> tags, then it is ok, otherwise, it will cause problems.
