I nominate Carolyn Tang of CollectblesToday. Carolyn has impressed me with her dedication to making sure affiliates have all the help they need to build the best sites. She added new links upon request and checked for tracking errors very quickly. She understands affiliates and can empathize with us as well. This was plainly evident when she went to management to get affiliates some compensation after her IT team created the recent image fiasco. Thanks for the help this year Carolyn!

LOL. You rock SpikeDo, thanks! And I see you've avoided the Collectibles/Collectables controversy by just dropping that vowel all together.

I nominate Rick McGrath at JCWhitney.

Rick has gone way above the expectations to take care of his affiliate partners. I have personally communicated with Rick as late as 9:45 at night, which is I'm sure WAY past his normal working day, and this has happened more than once.

It's apparent that he really wants to treat everyone fairly and give everyone a shot at being a top performer in his program, and he will do whatever he can to give his affiliates the tools to make it happen for them.

There have been some issues at JCW lately with a site redesign, and all the chaos that ensued afterward. Rick went to bat for his affiliates, and in spite of the turmoil the redesign caused, very few affiliates were unhappy with Rick over this situation, even if there were ongoing linking problems, simply because we all know he's just as unhappy as we are, and he's doing everything within his power to find a quick fix.

If this means working late, sending multiple E-mails, tracking people down by phone, pleading our case to the big guns at JCW, or whatever it takes, Rick has done it time and again. And Rick made things right for all of us who lost money due to problems beyond our control.

The affiliate marketing industry would be in much better shape if we had more AM's like Rick.

    Thanks for everything, Rick!

    Andy

In spite of the affiliate program itself having some difficulties, I would like to nominate Rick from JCWhitney.

There are very few AMs that could hold a program together like he has over the last few months, and he did so in a calm, honest, and communicative manner.

Now, I won't be nominating the program itself, because of the aforementioned problems. But Rick is one of the AMs that I trust - and that does not come particularly easy in this business.

I think this is the most difficult category of all. So many great AMs. This will take some serious thought ...

    I nominate Akiva,

He is always there looking out for his partners and always creating stuff to help affiliates.

    Thank you very much Akiva!

Don't we get second and third best AM?

Akiva gets my vote for many reasons.

While many had parasites slip and even he did I recall 3 maybe 4 occasions where others had let parasites in and Akiva had not. He is on the board and very active and doesn't ask for others to notify him of parasite updates. - He usually knows of or can spot issues before we even know of them.

He's provided the Product showcase creator to his affiliates to enjoy and utilize, has externized datafeeds, offers great compendsation in his programs and if thats not enoght he's not afraid to address or talk about issues other AM's seem to avoid despite him asking for input.

There are many great AM's here. Linda definately deserves a vote as well - She's added many great merchants, ensures they are parasite free, and has gone the extra mile to entice the merchants to add processing where affiliates get sales on 1-800 number phone sales! A big kudos to her as well.

    ===================================
Great News - we can now support ebates and pp merchants - they are cleaning up their act and I'll bet it'll be a long time before we see another clip of ebates overwriting affiliate links.

I vote for Bryan from Backcountrystore. He may not be as prominent as some of the other good AM's here like Akiva and Andy but if he can help an affiliate he will go out of his way to do so.

Lets not forget who fetched the "Sniplet Generator" tool out first, this a great tool for affiliates.

So in short Bryan gets my vote

I nominate Tom Rice. Not only do affiliates get credit for regular phone orders, affs get credit even if Tom has to have multiple phone conversations with the prospect to finally get the order!

And no parasites allowed, of course.

I have to go with Akiva as he lurked here for a while and filtered out what the key was for launching a successful affiliate program. Right from jump street he realized recruiting was simple if he created landing pages that converted for all types of affiliates. Basically threw away the advertising managers hat and put on the sales managers cap-n-cape. Never had a month that I didn't sell EA undies on limited traffic.

It was a close call - there are so many great A.M.s here to choose from.

    I nominate Dale from Motormint.

it's a great program, a great product, and Dale always takes time to respond quickly to any concerns and always delivers what he promises.

    Poon,

Thanks so much. Since I am a relatively new AM here and have tried really hard, just having you mention my name - along side all the great, well established ABW AM's that have been nominated, means a lot. I appreciate you!

    I'd add Patrice of Eastwood.

When she found they'd goofed on figuring bonus amounts in the past, she (and Eastwood) flagged the problem and recalculated everything and sent out payments to get us "back to even" and then some.

Having an AM you can trust counts for a *lot* in this business.

Since I'm from Florida, I get two or three votes right?

One vote for Andy who is one of my AM's and treats me with the same respect as those actually making sales for him.

One Vote for Linda who keeps tempting me with those great 5 STAR programs of hers.

    Akiva

He has put a personal touch and will listen to anyone who has a question of comment. Whether they bring in the big bucks, or are struggling to make the first sale, Akiva takes time for every affiliate (well, that I've seen.)

Keep up the great work Akiva!

    Thanks Buddha,

I know I will send you a few checks very soon...i judge the success of my programs by how many checks get cut every month, not necessarily the amounts of a few. There is power in numbers..
