i don't check my amazon stats very often, since my income from them is minimal. Usually 1 or 2 sales a week. But... just checked today and I sold 142 items on Saturday!

This must be a reporting error, anyone else have a similar experience?

Is this http://affiliates.amazon.co.uk or http://affiliates.amazon.com.... I see nothing unusual on either perhaps you DID sell 142 items?

    Good luck!!

Let's see.. bugger all, bugger all and bugger all. About the usual for Amazon

OK, I did make a sale on Friday, but it looks like they're up to their old trick of not converting again.

It is amazon.com and I just checked again, now it is also reporting for Sunday - 34 items more!

Maybe a search engine has found my affiliate link.

Ha - also started this thread over at the official amazon boards and got this prompt reply:

Just thought I'd follow up - it turns out some optimized pages that I'd forgotten about were found by freshbot and boom! sales everywhere. I don't know why I didn't check that first, but I simply checked "which products are your visitors clicking through" and it was obvious.

Hmm.. I just sold 17 books about parrots. I think all to the same person. That must be someone who likes parrots a *lot*

One of the nice things about Amazon is that sometimes you do get these multiple orders. I don't think I've ever had a "wholesale" size order from any site - including those who promote that angle.

About once a month I get an order for 20 or more of a different title, presumably schools, colleges, etc. Can be a nice order value if they're text-book type prices.

Doubt if that parrot order will stick though - probably placed by some third world script kiddie super BHO duper affiliate type

12 orders out of 396 visitors in May so far. Orders coming in every day. Weird, I was getting visitors but no orders for a while

I really think something happened to Amazon's tracking on some of its accounts in April. I had a very low order rate compared to what is normal for me. Now that May is here, everything seems fine again. Very strange...

    Hmmm, that's possible...

    but it worked...

    it diverted all those sales...

    CJ's software never works right...

    Couldn't have been from CJ...

Amazon has been consistent for us all quarter. So far this quarter 6500 clicks and continuing a nice conversion ratio since we switched how we promote them. Gotta love that user created content.
