    Do you find the used books really eat into your affiliate sales? I am new with Amazon.

    YES!. I also found that all distractions make the pages confusing and it probably results in more abandoned potential sales. The pages have gotten to the point that it's a circus visiting there. Less savvy surfers could give up.

    I still sell more new books than used, but I've noticed the used books seem to be gaining on the new ones lately.

    I agree that Amazon needs to clean up their landing pages. There's way too much going on. Too much clutter. Seems they'll do anything to avoid paying out that 15% commission, including scaring potential buyers off!
