Just reach the 4000 barrier today, total items shipped. I'll get the 6.25% rate.
I'm just promoting books on the side. No links to other products. Amazon is just an other competitor for me. I'm also getting sales for Toys, Video Games and DVDs right now. People buy mostly what you promote. Never had a sale for clothes or electronics or not too many.
My traffic is at least twice as usual and sales 4X.

I've a unique affiliate ID for all my web sites. I'm an amazon's affiliate from the very beginning and I'm lucky enough to have some of the books in Google referenced with my own ID. I don't use scripts (I should, just not enough time to do it). I don't have bookstores (or list of books) but I've links from my content pages to highly targeted books.

Hi, I'm selling Tools & general hardware..it pays ok....will be better when the $10 cap is totally scrapped..or else Amazon will lose out big time in the Aff. marketing world....I can't give them space and only get $10 back when I can get $150 elsewhere for the same product.

I'm just getting started too......10,000 visits a month for 1 site...about 3,000 and climbing for another.
