I won't disclose the name of the affiliate, but so far this weekend, Affiliate CDXXX had 18 clicks that generated 4 sales with a sales total of of $1,900, making a $123 commission.

*And* we still have all of Sunday still to go !

    Excellent conversion... Bravo, Bravo..

Congrats to that affiliate, but I'll bet they have a datafeed with no 1x1 pixel click tracking and those 18 clicks came from regular page creatives.

    Not sure I understand:

There are 1,400 impressions which generated those 18 click thrus.

Any time a link on their site takes them to our website the click is registered.

18 click thrus generated 4 sales. 4 sales generated $1,900.

Ignore him Victor. There are still one or two who either don't see the value of or can't implement a datafeed. To them it's all spam.

Conrats to those who make sales, datafeeds or not.

Basically it is raw product data provided by a merchant for the affiliate to use on their sites in order to help sell a merchants product.

It usually is a text file in a variety of file formats and generally includes relevant info such as a product name, price, description, product category, image URL, purchase URL, tracking link etc.

Look at the front page of this site for a link to the datafeed forum for more info.

    And welcome to ABW, PPCguy!

The good news is, you can elect to use a script that can structure the datafeed into an 'instant store', with category navigation, images & search boxes.

The benefit to that is, in a relatively short amount of time, you can be hosting hundreds or thousands of products on your website.

The leverage is substantial, in that if you were interested in building a product based website, you won't need to build it one by one, product by product. Instead, you sort of just add water on top of the datafeed, and it pops up into a nicely organized store.

There are several scripts like this that work with the BettyMills datafeed in case you are interested.

I found quite a few scripts. Which one do you recommend?
