Eventually you will figure out the character substitutions needed. They are the likely source of your problem. I wrote the following notes to myself but I know that I had to do some further massaging manually.

Betty Mills feed Search and Replace before exporting to text
(^t = tab) The space between the first and second columns below is not visible, so you will have to imagine it. Some of the substitutions are not essential but I did them to reduce the number of characters.

    Category column

    & and
    , (nothing)
    / (space)and(space)
    _ (space)
    . (nothing)
    - (space)

    Sub-Category column
    / (space)and(space)
    — (space)
    - (space)
    & and
    ™ (nothing)
    ® (nothing)
    , (nothing)

    Product Description column
    "" "
    "^t ^t
    ^t" ^t

I know that people tell you to check the line before and the line after when the problem is a sudden stop in the running of the script, but I didn't usually see the problem characters in the vicinity. Little by little, I have managed to reach 21,000 records and I have been uploading what I had, rather than wait to process the entire data set.

To complete the picture for anyone reading the thread, I posted in the WebMerge forum that my 21,000 record limit was caused by my use of FAT32 on the local drive. When I changed to an NTFS formatted drive, I had no problem generating the full set.
