Hello all,

I'd like to know how do merchants report at BeFree.

Do they report everyday, every week, or some other period?

Do they report when items ordered or shipped?

I have a sale for GAP that is not listed in "ordered items" but only listed "shipped sales"?

Also, on IBM report, I see 4 paid clicks, but now commission info. Didn't know they paid for clicks.

Thanks.

SamBay,

The vast majority of merchants report on a daily basis. A small number of merchants report less frequently, a few times a week, or even weekly.

I believe that Gap reports weekly.

The Be Free system tracks both orders and shipments. Commissions are paid on shipments.

Some merchants for various reasons only provide data on shipments, not orders. Again, Gap falls into this category.

Not sure about IBM. I am not aware of a current CPC compensation for them, though they may have previously payed CPC for at least some links.

Hope this helps.

Scott,

A welcome addition to the BF Merchant Reports section would be to add a field with the Date/Time of Merchant's last Report to BF.

To be Really useful, it should update immediately as the Merchant report is received. It would always be handy though. Make it easy to see... automatically when a Merchant is selected.

Many Affiliates would be checking this every night/early AM.

Jim,

Very good idea (as usual). This is something that I've wanted to do for a long time, but have been unable to get done in the old interface.

Things are settling down now after the recent changes and this is near the top of my list of things to add.

It sounds really easy, but there are a lot of under-the-cover things that have to happen first. Hopefully soon.

Scott,

Sounds like a plan to me. Good deal.

Posting the last Date/Time of a Merchant's reporting sales would probably eliminate a lot of Posts on this forum and emails to BF also.

Now I'm starting to sell some stuff for Tiger (at last) I have a new found passion for understanding the new BF interface.

I can see how many items sold, how much etc - can I find out anywhere what they were ? Can't see it.

Are you Crazy?

Crazyguy,

The product specific reports are available in the merchant branded areas of Partner Gateway. The quickest way there is the drop-list at the top right of the PG screen.

Select "Tiger Direct", Click the "Creating Reports" link and then run a Product Activity report.

Let me know if you cannot find it.

Crazyguy the TD reports have the option to choose "product success" or linking reports to show every banner-text & individual product link activity including those where sales were made. You can even see which items sold if shopper navigated the TD site from your cookie and bought something. NEAT!

Scott & Mike - I knew that

I hadn't been into the merchant areas for ages as a combination of:

1) No sales to speak of
2) Using datafeeds so no links to build
3) Dazzled by the new BF interface

Things are changing now - Google's dancing on my new site. Get that check-book ready Andy

Thanks guys.
