The most frustrating thing about BeFree is that if the advertiser doesn't provide you with product links, there doesn't seem to be a way to create them yourself.

Is this true or is there a way to change the destination URL of an advertiser's link?

It's true that not all merchants provide a way to link directly to their products.

Many merchants implement the tracking on their site on a landing page. Therefore, while we do have a mechanism for linking directly to any page, it should not be used in all cases as it may bypass tracking.

If you have a merchant for whom you'd like to link directly to products but can't, ask the question of that merchant. They need feedback that this is important.

Or ask me more specifically and I'll look into that merchant for you.

    Thank you, Scott,

I'll write to the merchant and see what they have to say. My site is very subject specific, and I'd prefer to put the time into directly linking to the products that will benefit my viewers. So, hopefully, they will be able to help me out.
