Do you know when bids will start appearing from the eBay motors category? Is ebay currently working to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance for your reply.

I'm not up on this issue. I'll check with the account manager on this and get back to you.

    Bombalini,

They seemed to know who you are

THey're looking into it, but don't know of any issues. It should be working.

To confirm, I just registered and placed a bid on a 2002 Audi TT. I'll let you know what happens.

And it'll be a nice bonus if I get the car.

    Scott,

Best of luck with the Audi. I really appreciate the fact that someone is finally looking into this. I'm sure they do know me. I've been writing emails, making telephone calls, etc., for the last month and a half trying to get this thing resolved.

I just crunched some numbers tonight and found that we had 18,463 click throughs to ebay from October 8th thru November 24th. I used this date range since the categories aren't broken out prior to that.

Our site is strictly automotive, and we have hundreds of links pointing to search results for automotive manuals which are mainly listed on ebay motors.

With these 18,463 click throughs to ebay, there has not been one bid shown as coming from the ebay motors category.

    Again, I appreciate your efforts.

    Bombalini,

Now I understand your latest message. I didn't realize that you've already got an update on the issue from the account manager.

So as you now know, I did find the problem, not with tracking per se, but some transactions were getting stopped up in the processing. We have all the data, we just need to process it. It may take a little time as we want to fix the cause of problem before cleaning up. We'll get it squared away.
