Two of the emails I received today were pretty cool. Today is the 26th of August. One of the Merchant emails told me about their very popular annual "something off sale" that runs from August 21st till August 24th. This is extremely usefull info for me to get on the 26th don't you think.

Another one was for a Great Sale that runs from August 21st thru August 27th. Hey at least I can put that one up for 24 hours. Why don't these merchants think about emailing before the sale instead of after or at the end of the promotion?

Has anyone ever asked and gotten an answer???

I won't show all my reply but I'm sure TigerDirect and some other computer merchants would get a laugh out of this.

Amazing you turn down my computer Cybermall, when I'm an active a Sony VAR since
1994, buying from Ingrim Micro or Tech Data Corp. Having a IBM reseller
account # 000003 since 1982 also shows me some stature within the computer
industry. I'd recommend your AM take a refresher course at the largest
affiliate and merchant community forum on the internet before even
contemplating recruiting active affiliates for SonyStyle.com. www.abestweb.com

Just the Befree stats for www.ecomcity.com/pcshops.htm might make you
reconsider your rejection of my site as not conforming to your affiliate
    profile.

Haven't heard a word from them since I sent it 8/16.

Got it too. Replied back asking why it happened. We'll see if I get a response.

They really need to put LIDS on that sort of thing.

Got a reply from one of the merchants that I got an email from on the 26th. They told me they gave it to BeFree on the 20th and they had other emails besides mine regarding the lateness.

Seems like it would be pretty easy to set up the emailing so when BeFree gets a merchant email they could send them out the same day and not 6 days later.

I wonder what that's all about?

I don't know the details, but it seems that some emails got held up somewhere between getting sent and hitting your inbox.

If you look at the email headers, you'll see that the were actually sent last week.

Not the merchant's fault. Not sure if it was Be Free's or someone's in between, but I think it was a short-lived problem.
