    You won't be locked out of the rest of partner gateway, but each time you log in, you'll be prompted to confirm your profile info until you submit the form again.

    Confirm your info, enter your password in the last field, and submit.

    I hate an auto email out to all merchants
    even there is no information change.

    This is the case too whenever a postal error of one check happen.

    i am asked to confirm my ( correct ) profile and all my merchants got an email out of such instance.

    Scott,

    When I tried to update the profile page to verify that everything was correct I got an error. But when signing on later it didn't come up again so does that mean it's updated?

    Yes, you're probably all set. You can always go in to the update profile section and check.

    I'm not sure, but it didn't look like that page was secure. I don't remember seeing https or the lock on the bottom of my browser.

    There's an option to change to an HTTPS version of Partner Gateway on the login page.

    The confirmation email I got said, in part:

    If this is not current reality, I suggest that the confirmation email be updated to match what really happens (or doesn't happen).

    I hate the enter your password part - I have to go request my passwords cuz I don't remember them and I um have 4 accounts to update IE saves them for me so I don't have to remember them - LOL

    I see, good point Leader.

    It's simply being "sent" via the system, not in an email.

    I don't think it was ever sent via email in the years this has been around.

    I guess we don't read these old notices very often. Surely that text could be more clear about what's really happening.

    Scott please double check to make sure what you say is correct.

    1. I have been informed by suppport staff before that they are aware that the system did sent out email to merchants. Whether you just "confirm" or "update" your profile.

    2. And i did happen in the past that a few merchants send me special emails after a "confirm" or even you are "disabled"
