I've never been comfortable with the BeFree reporting interface - and reckoned it wasn't worth learning now, but I've just been moving my Ebay links from CF to CJ, when I notice the staggering statistics:
Click- throughs 27,959
Items Ordered 1,129
Generated Leads 35
Returns & Cancellations 748 !!!!!!
Seven hundred and forty frikkin eight!
I read what they said about the new system, marketing models, not double counting etc etc, but got the distinct impression that mass cookie setters would be the losers and people who put ebay auctions on content pages and sent people straight to the product would be the winners. I thought we might see the odd reversal here and there - not more than half of them.
Jeez - 25% of the people I sent them actually bid on something, what do I have to do to get them to like my cookies?
Are you Crazy?

Yep, it's a gloomy picture at eBay right now, no matter how you look at it. The reversals are the icing on the cake.
There are lots of problems that need to be addressed, including how it's possible that so many reversals are necessary. I'm running consistently 25% reversals, this on very targeted eBay items. Something isn't adding up. Something stinks big time!
