Anyone else get SPAM from Boatersworld.com, and wolfcamera.com asking you to join their program?

They're using a list purchased from somewhere to do it. I had three from boatersworld alone. Both used an address used on one of my sites for feedback - starts "feedback@mysite.com" Of course, you can guess, that address is only used for that purpose, and was harvested by somebody. Now it's being used by merchants to spam. Vicious cycle

Anyway, thanks to those merchants for being so careful and being so desperate. Did BeFree/CJ provide you with the list you used?

I get them continually from CJ, befree and Performics. They're most probably getting the email addresses from them.

"They're most probably getting the email addresses from them."

No, they are not. That's my point. The address they used for me is one we use for nothing other than feedback at one site. The only way for BF/CJ to get the address is if they spidered the page and harvested the address.

My point was that these merchants are using a list purchased from someone. Classic SPAM routine.

A lot of sites visit websites that are listed on BeFree as affiliates and use the Feedback form or what not to contact you.

A few befree merchants have used my feedback form on my site to contact me. Instead of using the email provided to befree.
