    i found this happening to several BF merchants.

    when items have already been placed in the shopping cart, and the shopper then happens to click on an affiliate link, the items in the shopping cart doubles. clicking on the affiliate link again triples the items. and so forth.

    If you're using the BuyURL as your affiliate, then it's supposed to add the item to their shopping cart.

    There is another URL that you can use instead. But then you have to rely on the customer to add it. Personal preference on which one you use.

    no, they're not the buyURL links.

    they're just the regular category text links, and affiliate-exclusive coupon links. these links are not supposed to add an item to the shopping cart.
