Does anyone use Mcafee spamkiller? Also does anyone have any good spam killer software. I am having a nightmare with spam at present.

Don't use McAfee, they just make a program that does the same thing your Outlook express can do and then charge you for it...I was disapointed in the software when I ordered it.

I use SpamCop which is an external filtering service, costing $30 per year. The filtering is customisable and includes an anti-virus scanner.

It *is* supposed to be configurable for existing POP3 addresses, but to the honest it's a lot easier to use as your primary email address and just shut down anything that's overwhelmed with spam.

It's a very different kind of solution to the software-only ones. It's maybe a little less flexible, but the filtering is more proactive.

I recently found a new simple client, which managed to filter almost 100% of the spam, without intervention from my side.

i'm really curious...how do they integrate those bayesian, black n whitelist, reverse dns lookups n all other filtering in one solution? is there any framework, middleware or methods for integrating all the filtering? or they just put them altogether in one box and juz pray n hope they will work together?

ya..SA could integrate them...but, what if i have my own filtering mechanisms wouldn't it be redundant with SA?

I use Norton Anti-Spam from Symantec, and it's a part of the Internet Security bundle.
