Is it possible to charge someone a fixed rate for advertising?
Someone asked about advertising in my site and not sure what to answer since I don't have a pricing rate.

Is it easy to setup a pay per scripts or something like that?

If you want to sell banner advertising, you might try HttpAds. I haven't used it, but it looks good. They accept credit card payments and keep track of impressions.

    XO,
I would suggest going for a flat monthly rate for exposer only. Then add a signature on the end of the url that the banner links to (ie www.thedomain.com/?=trackinfo)

As the traffic proves worthy to your customer, go for a commision per click or per sale

    I agree with Mr. Magoo!

Doing some advertising with our site, www.ratemyface.com
Its better to have a monthly rate first. If your client makes $$ then they wouldn't mind paying by clicks.

We have a couple sites where we charge a monthly rate, but limit it to a number of advertisers. If you have a program like Adcycle, you can up the rotation and if you want, the advertiser can log-in and track impressions and clicks. It works great for us.
