i found a company Access USA
that forwards your mail ie if you order something in the usa, that does not deliver to the uk etc. it would be handy for affiliate companies that do not like uk affiliates. we could get a usa address.

has anyone tried it or heard about it??

    thanks for any opinions

I've looked at this before - including this company. The problem is the charges. In this case a minimum of $130 per year plus $14 or $15 per package of letters. And you still don't have a social security number which most merchants and networks insist on if you're US registered.

Personally I think it's better to ask the merchants if they will accept you, and if not just move on.

    There's a website at :
They have information & links to the forms (a W-7 for an individual or SS-4, for a Company) in pdf (last time I looked) on how to get a Federal Tax ID number (it doesn't cost anything according to the site) They do postal forwarding for Internationals.

It's easy to chase rainbows but it 'ain't so easy to catch 'em...
