Has anyone noticed quite a few affiliate window merchants link to ****shops which is an online UK store directory full of all sorts of affiliate links?

Not just aff window merchant links either but tradedoubler and others.... am starting to feel like it'd be sending an affiliate site free traffic.

I signed up to one today that has relevant and irrelevant affiliate links on ... the relevant ones I shouldn't mind as much as the non relevant but they both annoy me. I'm going to email the merchant this afternoon about it I think - and say why I'm not going to list them at the moment.

Check out the blurb at http://www.toysdirect.co.uk/default2.asp

quote:
Welcome to the Toys Direct Web Site. After a very bust Christmas we are currently updating our site with the new products being launched for 2004. This means that some areas of our site do not show any products.

Sounds like KB Toys syndrome to me

I can't see it happening though. The guy who's company put the merchant sites together seems to be the one who owns the big affiliate mall.
