    <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>Dear Affiliate,

You may have noticed, or seen on the Forums, that Affiliate Window suffered a partial loss of service yesterday, 20th May. This was due to a domain name not being renewed because of a billing error. Links were down intermittently, depending on the DNS servers used, for most of the day, and our current analysis tells us that we did not record c. 40% of traffic.

I would like to unreservedly apologise for the inconvenience, the down time, and the stress you all suffered. We pride ourselves on our service to our partners, and it is no consolation to us that accidents do happen. Needless to say, we have now completely over-hauled our processes for managing our Domain Names and other essential digital property.

However, my apology won't pay your bills. We have decided to offer all affiliates an ex-gratia, one-time payment to cover potential loss of earnings. We will be paying into your Affiliate Window Account one and a half days 'earnings'. Your 'earnings' for this purpose have been calculated as your average commission due on all sales (confirmed and pending) over the last 7 days. Hence, if your average daily earnings over the last seven days have been £100 per day, you will be paid £ 15 0. This payment will shortly appear in your account as a 'Bonus Payment'.

We hope that this will go some way to compensate you for the distress caused. Please accept my sincere apologies for this unfortunate event.

    best regards,

    Robert Glasgow
