I received a Spam email that states the
Meta Tag for Smart Tags does not work ...

But they have a "java script" for $9.95
that will "stop" Smart Tags --
http://www.Xp-TrafficSaver.com

Does anyone know if their statement is
true -- the above meta tag doesn't work?

Or are they just full of it?

Anne

I got their code some time ago for free. Don't know if it works or not since MS decided not to use Smart Tags (yet).

"MS decided not to use Smart Tags~Erninator"

THERE'S a clue...

I'd say the spam is BS! Although I didn't get the spam, provided that it's trying to get $9.95 for a javascript to stop something MS isn't doing anymore sounds bogus...

BTW, when I clicked that link it said the site was "temporarily disabled". I wonder if they're just updating it or is it gone already?

Hehehehe....
We can reply to them:

"Smart Tag is dead.
Now come bigger threat than Smart Tag
- Top Text, WhenU, etc.....
Buy our software for $9 - much cheaper than yours and if you act now, you can have it for $5, almost a 50% saving of your $9.95"

Send the email to: ecsrayo@yahoo.com
(whoever own this email is the one who own that domain - according my detective work....may be I should join the FBI or CIA )
