in some promotion tips I read that ezines are the most cost effective way to advertize e.g. US $ 20 to contact 7000 users.
My experience is that ezine advertising is cheap, but nevertheless wasted money. It's better to buy some pizzas instead.
What is your experience? Does anybody know a newsletter targeted to craftsmen with paid

Do You Read all your e-mail?
I receive several "e-zines" a day and delete them all without a look.
My personal opinion is that "e-zines" are a waste of advertising $$.

Depends on the ezine.
For example, I always read and click the sitepoint tribune ads because they are extremely tragetted, there are usually only 2 ads and IMHO the ezine itself is very professional.
But there is another ezine I'm subscribed to that is kind of amateur and it has about 6 ads per issue. For some reason I completely ignore all 6 of those ads.
I don't know any craftsmen ezines but if it is highly targetted and has good content, it could work. My advice is that if you do find a related ezine, take a look at some back issues and contact previous advertisers for feedback.
