I suggest you read this from the bottom up. I played a total noob. He really wants me to push his "software", I wonder why?

----------------

Last email I sent to them, no response yet....

That's cool, my visitors might like some music stuff. Especially for free!

I'm just about ready to start putting the links on my pages. Is there
anyplace I can read the license agreement?

I once read about some kind of software that puts pop ups on my machine
after I download it. I admit, I don't know much about it, or why they would
do that. Does your download do that?

I'm excited to get started. Thanks for bearing with me.

Classic troll job mike. Wonder what his special rate is for driveby installs when you place a popular music sampling link on your site. The classic "we know they wanted it" crapolla and if they didn't read the 7 page legalese they shouldnt have installed it.

Here's the last email he sent me.

--------------

J,

Mp3Media Monster does not do that, but some of our bundles are adware,
meaning they will launch popups to users from time to time (like when you
isntall Gator and you get popups from them when you surf.) Give
it a try for just a week to see what kind of user response you get and how
much revenue you generate.

Regards,
Mike

Man I hate these boofs!

I bet that they use WhenU or netpal as the "Sponsor".

Yes - SaveNow/Save is indeed bundled with their downloads.

Oh, and BargainBuddy as well.

Erm, and n-Case too.

And IGetNet.

And SideStep.

And eBates.

And UCMore.

And SuperBar, a new piece of spyware from Lions' Pride Enterprises (makes of the wnad spyware) which I hadn't seen before.

In fact bluehavenmedia are affiliated with LPE; in fact they used to be owned by LPE. They are, as it happens, the same company as 'trekblue', who make the spyware removal application SpywareNuker. More about that: http://www.spywareinfo.com/yabbse/in...;threadid=2343

I don't know if there's a prize for most excessively spyware-laden application, but BHM are clearly right up there battling it out with iMesh and Grokster for the dubious title.

yuck.

Deceptive connieving little bastards aren't they. read all the thread folks from the link Andrew gave us. This is the coverup spin used by all the con-men seeking a quick buck with BHO Adnausium applications. The owners hide behind sleeze bag attornies shuffling company names and look for a popular keyword marketplace to penetrate. Spy-ware is hot so well spam the world with a anti-spyware package and do hidden installs of Adwarez programs.

We'll even structure paid subscriptions for the anti-spyware app and use the update backdoor to load in the affiliate network enabled crapola. Basically a pay toilet, which requires you to pay to get in doing the Bad burrito dance, and then charges you for seat time, toilet paper by the sheet and a exit fee to get out.

Affiliate Makeover,

Were you Ace Ventura, Pet Detective in a previous life? LOL! You sound just like what these guys look for--a newbie with a lot of site traffic and a hole in their pocket to fill!

He is really interested in your unique visitors, no doubt licking his lips at the number of potential downloads! He reminds me of the Wolf hiding in the woods on the way to Grandma's house.

What a creep! Be sure to let us know if you get a response.

Heheh.. I love it. They really are sleazebags aren't they.. how about claiming you downloaded the app and now your PC keeps freezing, even though you tried to deinstall it? See what info you can squeeze out of them.
