Ok, so one of my web hosts lets me download raw log stat files. They do provide an optional Urchin package to analyze stats.

I liked Webalizer at another host and have found that it's server side. So my question is, are there stats analysis programs out there that you can run offline on your PC to crunch the logs that you download from your site? Say weekly or monthly?

    Thanks,

Yup, tons. And I am sure everyone will leave their opinion as to the best.

My only comment is that you should look for one that tells (easily) what spiders have visited your site on a daily basis, and also tell you what pages which spiders visited.

There are tons of different ones out there though, everyone likes something different it seems.

I second that vote for weblog expert, been using it for a while and it does what I need it to do.

    I like HappyLog from www.axolot.com .

$33, runs on your PC, try-before-buy.

Not fancy, but it does what I need done.

You could try 10-Strike Log-Analyzer. It is a shareware. Costs about $35.
