    having serious trouble with the folowing ad that popups on my computer once or twice and popups usually only when I'm viewing my site, everytime I surf the internet. It's effecting my gameplay.. popup right into my games and crases my computer. Does anyone know where this is coming from and how to get rid of it?

    thank you leader. That was one of a popup that screwed my computer up. Those applications should be disabled when you turn on your computer.

    Those things are pure distilled evil.

    However, you can use either a decent personal firewall (a MUST these days) or turn off the messenger service (not such a great idea as some applications use it).

    Mind you, it's so simple to do.. you can more-or-less use the NET SEND command and do it yourself. If you want to be booted from your ISP that is

    Technical information on the IP ports used can be found here. I'd certainly block access to port 135 for most users.
