Is there any place on the net that already shows a summary of PPC sites, and where they derive their traffic from? Do you think a summary like that here might be of interest or value? I have often wondered when using PPCs where the majority of their traffic is drawn from, wondering if their traffic is quality traffic or not.

The PPCs I would be most interested in looking at are:

    Kanoodle
    Findwhat
    Goclick
    7search
    123search
    Overture

    Any others?

I do not use a couple of those, because of some of the parasites they affiliate with, but others might be interested.

I haven't seen a good relationship chart anywhere on the net. I've thought about making one myself several times...but I guess I just haven't gotten around to it. Believe me, those relationships are very convoluted. VERY!

So here's some of what I know:
Kanoodle-- They get some traffic from HotBar. Very poor quality.
FindWhat-- Much of the traffic is from their affiliate network.
GoClick-- Who knows!!! I didn't know they had any visitors! Poor quality.
7Search-- I think only 7search and maybe a couple meta engines. Below average quality.
123Search-- No clue, used to be netzero.net. Average quality.

You should get Looksmart-- they get most of their traffic from MSN and it converts very well. They buy from Searchfeed and Search123 though, so that dilutes the quality somewhat.

Come to think of it-- in the search engine world, everybody buys from everybody else, except Overture and Google. I would like to see that chart actually drawn...

    Industry Background

Search Engines, like Yahoo, were the major reason why the
Internet, the stock markets and the global economy soared in the
birth of the Web. Also, we believe that Search Engines are the
main reason for the fall of them all. Why? Simply, most
websites are found from Search Engines and not ADVERTISING.
Trillions of US dollars worldwide are continually wasted in
attempting to generate traffic to sites from Print Media,
    Sponsored links and Banner Ads.

If you or your clients websites do not appear of 100'S OF SEARCH
TERMS (keyword phrases) related to your business on the first
page of the search results of Yahoo and Google, then you and your
clients have lost approximately 90% of your website traffic
potential. We are perhaps the ONLY supplier in the world that
really understands how the Internet works and HAS THE SOLUTION!!!

How much would a #1 ranking all year round in Google and Yahoo Be
Worth To You and Your Clients? $1,000? $5,000? $20,000? $100,000?
Have you worked it out? Many people would pay hundreds if not
thousands for this market position as it WILL generate income
    beyond your expectations.

The solution is INTERNET CORPORATE BRANDING.

YES, WE CHARGE ONLY US$ 20 A YEAR. REPEAT!

WE CHARGE ONLY US$ 20 A YEAR TO BE ON THE FIRST PAGE OF YAHOO AND

I hear everyone. I would also like to see a relational chart for all PPC sources. I tried asking a few different Overture Sales rep at one point but none of them would spill the beans. I guess this is industry secret to an extent. I was only able to get a few obvious ones like Yahoo etc. It does seem odd that unlike traditional marketing, users would pay for traffic from unknown sources. On the other hand, just like newspaper media, doesn't matter where they come from as long as the traffic is of decent quality.

If anyone find a recent relational chart, I would love to learn more about this.

    Thanks in advance!
