Has anyone else had this problem?

Whenever I come to the Parasite Ware section here at ABW, I start reading something and ZAP!!, my browser gets hi-jacket and I get a full screen porn site, or search engine site or some other crap. This happens sometimes at other sites when I'm reading about Parasites, but it happens everytime here at ABW. Anyone else?

My theory is that a parasite on my computer is reading what I'm reading and then hi-jacking my browser. It's as though it doesn't want me reading about parasites because I may learn how to kill it.

I am virus free (knock on wood) and when I run Adaware, the only thing that it finds is Quad.....something and some tracking cookies. I remove them but they always come back of course.

Just wondering if I'm the only one that has a paranoid parasite.

Ken Walton, Welcome to, You are not alone, I'v been noticing alot of related stuff that you posted and I'm getting ready to report it too the FTC and I'm reporting it too the necessary companies.

Try using more then one application to remove this stuff. I haven't have any spyware trouble anymore.

    Remove: Adware:

remove spyware, trojans, etc: and also I use

Also you may want to think about disabling acti ve x in your internet options:

Internet options-Security-custom Level-Disable all active X features. If you want next time the popup comes up do a print screen (printScrn) key on your keyboard and send me a private message and I'll see if I can find the stinking culprit.

Someone else told me whenever they view the Parasiteware forums their browser gets hijacked and displays porn sites.

Hmmm...sounds like some of the parasites don't like people reading up on them! Just shows how scummy they truly are. And the networks act like they're upstanding businesses!

I'd do as Jason suggested, run more than one program to check and remove suspicious programs. Some of them have the ability to rebuild themselves, via hidden files on your computer that phone home and re-download everything. You have to make sure you get rid of them all before you're really clean. Nice, huh?

Sometimes i have the feeling that we should all pool some money and pay every popup parasite to trigger on all USA citynames. The popup should be with a face of Bin L. with the wording 'I do not like US-citizens'
(or targetting the websites of both Bush & Kerry with a nice smile of Saddam)
Bet that we are quickly finished with all parasite ware.....

    Okey... get a live...
