    Hi all,

    http://www.clickxchange.com

Right on the front page they have an offer paying 1 cent a click for "CashBack by BargainBuddy."

I don't work with the company. Could someone who knows one of the owners or someone with some clout contact them and let them know they are helping to spread adware and commission stealing apps. Someone who's a member may also want to be sure there are no other unsavory offers in there.

Did you ever check through the low lifes that clickxchange offers? Bargainbuddy would be a respectable company in comparison to most there.

If Haiko really walked the walk and talked the talk of the ABWers he'd never stoop so low as to push these PPC networks here at ABW. They are rife with drive-by installers and freebee BHO bundlers killing off this industry.

    Hi Guys,

You seem to be a lot more savvy when it comes to this "parasiteware" stuff than I am.

I got Hotbar stuck in my computer and practically had to use dynamite to blow it the heck out of here.

The way it puts alternative ads at the top of every page I am assuming Hotbar is "scumware" as well, although no one seems to mention it.

    ? ? ? ?

But a further check inside their program listings and there it is GRRRRRRRR

I am sure I have little clout but did e mail them the following to see if they respond
I happened to come across a listing from Bargain Buddy
I am personally apalled and tired of supporting companies who are helping to promote adware, parasites and scumware through the affiliate networks
I was also notified of this posting at A Best Web

Would you care to post at ABW why Clickxchange has found itself promoting these types of programs by allowing them in your network???

    Regards

cheer up. today the AOL IM software advised me it was time to upgrade again. I clicked on details and discovered weatherbug was to be part of the download. isn't that adware?

regarding clickxchange: you'll be lucky if the boss is ever around to oversee things. at least a penny a click is not a very serious offer and may be ignored by those now spoiled by adsense.

But then there are those paras whose only purpose seems to be to stealthy download all the other apps once they get themselves on your computer. At whatever the bounty may be. I had one that installed something like 11 or 12 within a 10 minute period until I finally put a halt to it. Only way I knew it was happening was ZA kept kicking off.
