Had the opportunity to try the Wolf Blass Black Label Cabernet tonight. Have to say that I still prefer the Yellow label and it's 1/2 the price.
The Black Label is aged 16 months compared to 8 for the Yellow and it was a trifle heavy for my tastes.
Still, a good wine and always better than no wine at all!

Yes it is a bit heavy, but I prefer it that way at times, with a nice roast beef and yorkshire pudding on a cold evening

The yellow is my favorite though...just curious, how much is it a bottle where you are?

About 15 years ago, could be more, the first time I tried Wolfblass yellow, I loved it and immediately wanted to buy shares, think they were something like 20 cents, under 50 cents anyway, my SO thought it a dumb idea...needless to say it was the last time I asked his advice or thoughts on investing when the shares jumped to $5+ within 6 months or so<IMG src=>
Another nice red I've come across, light one is called Poets Corner, another fine Aussie drop.

The Yellow label is $14 Canadian (about $9 U.S.) and the Black is $24 Canadian (about $15 U.S.)
I have never heard of Poets Corner. Is that the name of the winery?
Too bad about those shares, the Wolf Blass wines are selling very well here and always have a prominent spot on the shelves.
