In my humble opinion.....I should have gone for the flee to Canada route.

Less then 12 hours post surgery I went into congestive heart failure and they started speed dialing the family. Fooled them all and pulled through though.

Still in right much pain from the new knee and when I get into this much pain, I'm not a pleasant person to be around anyway. I'll be on and off but thanks again for all your wishes befor the surgery.

    Elaine,

Thank God! You should take it easy, if we can do anything, just say so.

Scared the beejeebers out of my kids and husband too!!

I plan on vegging out for another week or so as I'm using the laptop on the sofa. This was just my body giving fair warning that the other knee better not be done and this time I'm listening!!

Thanks everybody for the welcome back.

Jeeesh Elaine, sorry to hear about the problems. I'm glad ya pulled through and I wish you a speedy recovery. <IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif>

FWIW-My mother has had to have several operations and had the same thing almost happen to her twice but both times her heart stopped on the operating table. It turned out it was the anisteisia(spelling) that they were using to knock her out. She was allergic or something to it. Both times she came out of the operation with badly bruised ribs from the pounding. It might be something to check into in case you ever need to have another operation. Hope you feel better soon.

LOL NO joke!! I'm in the process of transferring everything over to a domain I bought but this is HUMBLE.

You have to smile as I'm only now just getting back into the web. Good thing I don't depend on it to live on yet. I eBay and that is quite profitable for me but, this next year I will develop and get the site up to where it at least won't be laughable!!

Took a really hard fall yesterday and put a 3" gash on my back. Will have to see the Dr this afternoon and see if I need antibiotics. The pain WAS getting better but this put me back a couple of weeks.

Thank you for asking. I'm here almost daily but, since my web site is taking unbelievably long to set up, I'm just reading and learning for the time being.

Just a short update. Saw the Dr and all though I'm a very pretty purple, the main cut was not infected.

The problem was there was a second cut DH missed and it IS.

Antibiotics again and a lecture.
