I just started promoting via ppc search engines. While writing my listings, for a few of the affiliates I listed the merchant such as "posters at allposters" or something similar. Now, for others, like these charm bracelets Im selling, I didn't put who made them though I was tempted to.
For you affiliate gurus, what do you think? Is it better to list the merchant for "credibility" or could that possible distract them from clicking your link? How much does it just depend on the product? Any insight is appreciated!

becareful not to infringe upon the merchants copyrights...
Most merchants do not allow you to use their name in any advertising... doing so will get you terminated from their program.
Re-read the TOS for the merchants you are promoting..
that's my2cents, 'cuz I'm a legend in my own mind....
