Say, what happened to Otis after the surgery? Was he adopted by a new family, or did the shelter employee take him in permanently?

Hey Leader, thanks for asking, We collected enough funds to provide the surgery, and he was adopted from a family, The donators gave otis about 4 months of a much better enjoyable life (no pain) However sadely to say otis ended up being very aggressive (biting) to his new family and anyone he interacted with and had to be put down. Which is sad it happened but he did have a good 4 months or non-abuse and pain from his neglect and abusive x owners.

For more information about euthanasia/and or spay and neuter go to http://www.santacruzspca.org/spayneut.html thought I would add this since I know some of you may not agree with euthanasia, but I would rather have this then not suffer then be starved to death on the streets. my 2 cents.

You're in LaLa Land - is this just a euphemisim, or do you mean Los Angeles? Are they strays or do you know if they were abandoned? Are they feral or friendly?

If you can't take them in you might try bringing them down to Angel Puss Rescue, if you're in Los Angeles (its in the little shopping center at 1578 Colorado in Eagle Rock, between Glendale and Pasadena). That is, if you're in Los Angeles. The people at Angel Puss are totally overloaded with cats right now (at least they were last I looked), but they might take them if you just bring them in (don't say I sent you - they'll kill me! BTW, their number is 626-442-4477 and they really, really need donations right now!

Check back in a week, there will probably be 8.

Me, I've been roped into trying to help raise money for landmines in Afghanistan. It took awhile to figure out if that meant installing mines, or removing them...but I figured, either way. Uh, well, okay, I am as crass as I appear.

    boom!
