Mine is "consluting"! Since I am a "conslutant" I type this word often and always get it wrong. I just type too fast --- it is NOT a freudian slip!

    LOL...""conslutant" ..I resemble that one

I guess I'm the worse offender at ABW and my parrot types better than me.

Taht -Merchnat -scummbag -spamm or is it spam -Duper (rather than sleezebag affiliate) -B-a-HO and so many more that many here are getting to know what I mean. Very scarry thought.

That's one I do too -- makes you look like a huge schmegdorf when you tell someone "by licking here you can..."

I do "affilate" quite a bit, especially when writing an eZine issue.

OK, now that I am so tuned into it, I notice I type so fast (and bad) that there are a TON of words I goof up on. I'm a great speller but my fingers and brain and keyboard do not always get along.

I'm on the verge of buying Dragon Natually Speaking because I talk better than I type.
I also have carpal tunnel so this would help me save some wear and tear on my hands. Anyone use any type of voice activation software instead of typing? Any feedback?

My most embarassing one happens all the time when writing URLs for discount-related sites.

One hand types faster than the other and transposes the c and the o in discount

These are great! I have to say that "the" as "hte" or "teh" is always something I do and see. And I just corrected another one: someting.

My problem is when I type any word ending with "tric" or "tic" - concentric, eccentric, problematic, pragmatic - I want to put an "e" on the end of them...a la "patrice". Similarly, I can never type "practice" on the first try.

    -patrice

    affilaite

On the spell check - I did have an account manager accidentally let spelll check tell an affiliate she was "constipated" once. I don't recall what she was trying to say- but the affilaite was very gracious about it

I always seem to type "THe" when I want to type "The". I get going so fast I don't back off the space bar fast enough. Very annoying to repeatedly have to go back and fix.

    Andy

MERCHANTS! Ask yourselves: "What's in my affiliate program that makes it worthwhile to publishers?" Hint: if you have one day cookies, or if the cookie is deleted after the first sale, or if you reverse legitimate transactions, you have nothing to offer.

My chronic typo just got me a hit. I guess mispelling works sometimes.

Msn just gave me a hit for "marketing consutling". I though, how in the world did someone find me with those keywords?

    Title:
Affiliate Program Management Marketing Consulting Recruiting - Affiliate Tracking Software
Description: Affiliate Program Management, CONSUTLING and Recruiting, Affiliate Tracking Software! www.catalystemarketing.com

I'm so embarrassed I have a typo in my own homepage description, but maybe I should leave it since I'm # 5 out of 575 other pages containing the same typo "marketing consutling"

I really do know how to spell - Im just a rotten typist and try to go too fast.
At least I didn't type conslutant like I usually do :-)

Hey Linda, just be glad you didn't type in "marketing consluting"! Imagine the types of visitors you would get then!

My bigest type is typing teh instead of the.

    Connie,

I would probably get a whole lot more takers on my offer for a "FREE conslutation". Bet my phone would start ringing!
