Can anybody recommend a good site for gambling. I know a lot of gambling sites have software you can download and play for free. My brother told me about http://www.wsex.com
I'm looking for something i can download and play for free, mainly poker, blackjack. Need to get some practice in, heading to Biloxi in December, then around the holidays when all the relatives get together, theres always a poker game going on. Thanks.

I watch poker on TV, and they always mention partypoker.com, but I have never used it.

There's also www.planetpoker.com - I like this one but you end up playing against some good players and I always get my ass kicked.

This is completely based on my own personal experience out of concern for you, not endorsed by AF:

Definitely recommend against PartyPoker. I have had more problems with that site than I care to talk about. Beyond major server issues that can cause you to lose high buy-in tourneys, most of the players in the high stakes areas play very strange and don't respond to player chat...which leads me to believe they're not on the level...

I question the integrity of all online gambling sites but UltimateBet seems to be okay so far and offers quite a few more options for play setup. It's also a cleaner interface with $.01 and $.02 stakes, if you want them.

It's been my experience that, no matter where, on the internet, once you get into higher stakes, people play in ways that can only suggest cheating. Big players folding to their friends in tournaments to keep them funded, raising the pots up and then folding for, basically, no reason, etc.

Also, if you're using it for practice, the fake money players never play like a real money player would...so it's no use. But, with real money...be very careful.
