Many of you may not know this - but my affiliate consulting business is only six months old. I think many people assume I've been doing this for a long time. But today is my six-month anniversary of freedom, and I owe it all to you - my ABW family!

I have been involved in Internet marketing for over six years. I had my own SEO business, was VP of Internet marketing for a company, then went on to become e-Commerce Manager for a company where I started their CJ program from the ground up. But the corporate grind is just not for me and as e-commerce manager I was wearing so many hats I didn't have time to focus on affiliates the way I wanted to. I had been in sales and sales management for years prior to all of this, and realized that affiliate management was the perfect fit for me with the blend of background I had in online marketing and sales management.

Anyway to make a long story short, I decided to take the leap and my last day in the corporate world was February 14, six months ago and I have never looked back, and never been happier in my life. I can’t even tell you how much I hated that J.O.B! I am totally in control of my own destiny now, work with great clients, and awesome affiliates! I could not have built this business up as quickly as I did without the support and relationships I have here at ABW.

I feel truly blessed to be a part of this community and hope my passion for affiliate marketing and commitment to help others shines through. Thanks again Haiko and everyone from ABW. I could not have done it without you! Gotta go before I start getting teary eyed.

    Your Grateful Partner in Success,

    Happy anniversary!
I love the freedom myself too. I'm still "very" young , 24, but I already know I never want to have a normal job. This is so much more fun and gives a lot more satisfaction . I even stopped going to University because of the affiliate marketing business. I can always go back to University when I'm retired

Awesome Linda. It's been over a year for me now and nothing even comes close to being like it. Self Employment is truly freedome - especially when you're doing affiliate marketing out of your home!

    Linda

Congratulations! I'm still dithering about biting the bullet and resigning from my job before the ulcers get me. Not earning nearly enough from aff marketing to live from, but, without the job, I'd have time to develop the business...

(I'd hate anyone to think I was posting this because we are drawing closer to 200k....)

(by the way, ahem,..... did I win?)

    (just asking....)

It's always nice to see "freedom" posts from those who started out defending the condition known as "w*rking"...

Now, now, I suffer from many psychological syndromes and Stockholm is not among them. Yet, I do love my job.
