    Wings are opening
Viewing the blue jay upon the branch
Seeing the rain wash away there chance of survival,
    The sun hidden from view
    A new meaning of life,
    Not afraid to fly away
That blue jay has another chance at life,
    Wings are opening
    Flying towards the sun,
    There wings are opening

Jason.... tell Pete it's called poetic license. Poetry away dude if you want. You're posting them in the Virtual Family forum and it's pretty obvious from your subject lines it's one of your poems when you post.

It's Your Money. You earned it. What are you going to do to make sure you get to keep it?

Okay this one poem to targeted to those greedy parasites!

    Crossing the cruel wires
    Crossing the cruel wires
Being torn around with constant lies,
My heart slashed with rusty knifes
    Give me one reason?
    I might have been valiant
With infatuation still confronting the silent driving force,
Have these ideas gone to waste?
My sympathy is still being faced
    With too much ignorance,
My fingers touch those cruel wires
    With gashed front tires,
    More lost words told
    Without a reason sold,
    Can we afford this shame?
Far away I can see this game
    Bloody stains searching,
    Painful despicable torching
    A bitter truth still here,
    Crossing Cruel Wires.

I think you should have your own forum for you poetry.

    Jason,
I am new here but have enjoyed reading your posts. You are always so upbeat and enthusiastic. Its definitely contagious!

So...I agree...post away...share your talent because you never know who you might bless. My husband writes poetry for me every now and then and I love it - it is so sweet.

If you love poetry so much, then why don't you start your own poetry site? Invite people to post their own poetry? Post all of your poems, and see what people think of all of them

If you have hundreds of poems, you are going to attract a lot of visitors. They may not be in the mood to buy anything, but as midnight coder said, you could use Google Adsense. If people click on those ads, then you don't need to care if they aren't in the mood to buy, as they have left your site, but you get paid by Google anyway.

Yes, make a site for your poetry, use Google Adsense and start making some money. Then put a link to it in your sig, so if people want to read it, then can go there.

You can also target that type of audience as well, there are several affiliate programs that pay per lead for entering their poetry contests!

Always do what you enjoy, make your life happy! With all the bad in the world these days, you gotta do something to maintain optimism! Even if its a channel.

A poem site can do pretty well - all the content can really draw in visitors. I have a friend who has a poetry site and he makes nice change from Google AdSense, Posters and various Amazon Books. He isn't going to get rich off the site, but he makes more than enough to make the site worthwhile.
