I get numerous sales/leads every day but suddenly on the 19th when the withdrawal was updated in my account, NOTHING?!!

Look at how consistant my sales were up to 19th. And my number of clickthroughs has been just as high if not higher than average so why NO conversions? I know it's only been 2 days but still, I know I should have had something by now.

Snoppy I get the same thing sometimes when everything comes to a sudden stop and then starts again but not right after a withdrawal like that. That might be worth a phone call Unless most of the previous sales were all Christmas oriented then it could be legit. My click throughs have slowed beginning yesterday.

Same thing happened to me snoopy. I had good click-throughs yesterday, and made one sale (batched from Amazing-Bargains.com). Today, I had the nickel from ebay, and just now I logged-in to my CJ account and saw brandsmall.com had pulled through with 5 bucks. Sales are racking up now, like they were. I understand the onlineshopping coming to a slower pace with Xmas just a few days away, but this is ridiculous.

I made $1.49 on Asctrocenter (miracles of miracles) Today! It is, indeed, better to laugh than to cry .... Merry Christmas Lex!

Does anyone know if there's an email address that CJ respond to? I prefer to use email so I have records of everything that is said.

Snoopy,
Don't you know ???

There is NOTHING wrong with the tracking at CJ, They use the most advanced tracking sytems in existance !

So advanced in fact, that is has the ability to show impressions , clicks and leads for SOME links, while others do not record even one single impression , even if that link has been clicked on , and clicked on, and appears smack dab front and center on your main page - that's truly amazing technology they have !

For example : My link to SkinStore.com promoting their free catalog, and a free sample kit they offer customers went up on http://www.lisasfreebies.com
Yesterday morning , yet ZERO impressions were recorded, and ZERO clicks were recorded - fat chance of a lead or sale showing up !

My traffic stats show something quite contrary to theirs - over 600 people viewed that page at one point or another during their visit .

Same goes for some of the other links that went back up. Will I bother to email or call them this time ? NO . It does no good , they are NO help whatsoever, and it only serves to frustrate me more .

What I will do is ONLY use those advertiser links that do not compete with those from other networks ,or, If they provide the only means to obtain afiliate links to a specific advertiser .

This IS very frustrating indeed,
I just re-did the freebies site the other night, and I decided I would stop being a cry baby, and put back up those CJ links I took down when I was having a hissy fit because there was NOTHING tracking from them for days , and I'll just put up with their crap once in a while when they ARE NOT having tracking problems, yet my site appears to be one of the few exceptions .

Well, no more hissy fits for me, I'm taking screen shots , and recording other data from here on in, just incase I ever need it

Hasn't anyone noticed yet that this happens every month around the 19th or 20th?

And yes, I know it doesn't happen to everyone.

Lisa, the site is looking good. One thing I noticed is that you have greeting-cards.com on your site. Are you able to pull up stats for them. Their little msg they have about updating their stats section in order to better serve us is BS. It's been like that for over a month. Probably 2 months. When I first joined them everything seemed legit. I have sent several emails to them. No reply which tells be they are a scam.

Oooh... Thanks for that info Patrick !
I am a dummy, I just joined them a few days ago, and was giving them the benefit of the doubt .
For months it's been like that with their stats ? Whooo... Good thing you told me

The same thing happens to me ALL the TIME!
Making consistent sales and generating leads like clockwork and then it's like someone turns the tracking switch OFF. A few days later in some cases, slaes and leads start showing up like clockwork again.
Seems like there is no real good explation for it either. Traffic and clickthrough remain constant or in some cases actually increase and sales go to ZERO for no reason.

Ask CJ to turn your Tracking Switch back on.

Everyday without fail I see some CJ sales show up for the few producing merchants like clockwork. Of course I don't fool with lead programs and stay away from Batch reporting merchants. 2 sales recorded today from my regulars and those who haven't shown sales in months still don't!! Some of these merchants forget to turn back on their sales reporting tags after turning them off. Get that secret shopper dealee cranked up ..Haiko.

QUESTION:

The site of mine that "tends" to have the most "tracking problems" and has these periodic "dry spells" for no reason, is one that I have alot of PPC search engine listings for.
Could there be some other reason why consistent sales suddenly drop to ZERO while traffic and clickthrough levels reamin constant?
I'm wondering if there could be some "link" to this "tracking problem" from from the PPC search engines. When someone clicks on a link in a PPC search engine, Could the PPC search engine load their cookie and prevent my cookie from loading?

I also have noticed that everytime my funds run dry on Overture, I have a bunch of sales suddenly show-up in CJ. It makes me think people are buying alot all of the sudden so I better hurry up and add some more money to my Overture account. Now that I think about this, it makes me go Hmmmmmmmm.....

While I don't usually get involved in the p issing contests about CJ's tracking (mainly because I haven't seen anything to indicate that the tracking wasn't working properly yet), I thought that I'd pass over this bit of information that we saw yesterday.

We call Thursdays "Buy-anything Thursdays" around here, btw.

We had a transaction posted at 0919 PST, and then the next transaction was posted at 1413 PST, a gap of five hours with no transactions.... a reasonable number before, and a reasonable number after The Gap.

Based on the information that I have available, our server was functioning properly during this whole time, and served a 'typical' Thursday's calls.

I don't ever recall going five hours without 'something' from CJ during the day.

While I don't doubt that it's a possibility that nothing actually took place, it certainly makes you sit there and raise your eyebrows.

I'll keep monitoring.

That depends on a number of things, but I never ruled out anything conclusively until I was proved absolutely wrong.

IMO, the only way to absolutely ensure yourself that this is NOT happening is to track step by step cookie placement, etc.

When you figure that out, let me know.

One of my site make $40 yesterday.
Revenue = $40
Sales = 1
Hits = 1
Imp = 331
CTR = 0.003
CPM = $120.85
CR = 1
EPC = $4000.00

Note: the site is still under construction (75% done), but I guess there is already traffic for it. So making a sale at this site is a surprise.

Just hope that it's not get reversed since it's from a cell phone provider and they said they only have 20% credit acceptance rate.

You know how CJ is keen on graphs? A graph showing hourly and daily hits would be cool.

Okay, I'm making no comment on CJ -- I have no idea the accuracy of their sales tracking (just know they haven't "turned my tracking off" -- okay maybe they did today... lol... I'm Kidding).

But has no one ever owned (or worked in) a retail store offline? You get the same kind of problems there -- days when everyone is looking, no one is buying, days when half the people come in and buy four times the stuff, days on end with nary a sale, and then wham you sell out of stock... and the store owners Never Changed A Thing, are still Marketing the Same Products, have the Same Amount of Traffic, Same Number of People Picking Things Up and Looking At Them, etc etc etc.

This is NOT unusual in the offline world, is there something I'm missing about why it should be different in the online world?

Well look at my stats on the previous page. One day of no sales? maybe, 2? unlikely. 3? no way. And it's coming up to the 4th day now. Don't forget the fact that it's Chistmas, people are in the spending mood.

Possible explaination:
It's a long weekend here in the US and people start packing and ready to travel.
I only have to work half day today.
Christmas is family time....and they would likely to hang out with their folk rather than clicking something to buy. And..for last minute gifts....you CAN'T buy it on the web...you just have to go to the store...grab something that's still available (and fight it w/ someone else)

Merry Christmas folks!!!

They dont have the advanced linking option, or product ads. I imagine it was a bunch of stuff. They took off from their "FingerHut Apparel" Link, and it was on. I do want to remind everyone that comparison shoppers, looking for "after Christmas sales" are on their way, and may be sniffing around already, even before Christmas is over.
