    I married my best friend!

I can't believe it has been that long already! It has truly flown by.

I was just 4 months out of high school and we had been engaged since I was 17. He was 21.

Everyone thought we were nuts and that it would never last, but hey, look at us now!

We have 16 years of marriage under our belt, 2 great kids, and are still in love! Even more now than we were then.

We are taking off later today and heading to Mackinac City for a couple of days. Kids are going to grandma's and we are going to just go enjoy being together!

    ~Michelle

    Woohooo - Congratulations!

Child labor laws exist yet, parasite partnering merchants (PP Merchants) and the COC allow an adult affiliates income to be diverted into the pockets of parasites and consider it normal business!

Why give parasites unlimited cookie durations and credit for sales where they divert our users and overwrite our cookies. PP merchants and the COC directly supports what many consider unfair trade practices, identity theft and thievery!

    Michelle,

    From one Michigander to another...
    Congrats!

This is great news to hear these days. Ever hear that one song by Shania Twain? "Still The One" I think it is called.

Might be a good song for you two

    Thanks guys!

We leave in a few hours. So far the day has been, ummm, shall I say stressful?

First the hotel calls and says the room we booked isn't actually available (even after we received a confirmation number!) so we have to take a different one that is courtside instead of lakeside and has a heart shaped hot tub instead of a 4 X 6 jacuzzi. They tell me they will give me a deal for the room at a rate of 128.00, I got look at their site and that room runs 118.00 on a Friday night! GRRRRR So I called and fought with them and got NOWHERE! I was ticked to say the least! Called around and nothing else available anywhere up there.

So I decide screw it! I am not going to let it ruin my day. Take a shower and go to shave and peel a huge hunk of skin off my body with the damn razor!

Get out, not even dressed yet, phone rings. It is the company that outsources their webpage design work to me. They forgot to pass some updates on to me for a job and they have to be up by tonight!

I just keep telling myself it has GOT to get better! *LOL*

We're baacckkk! And oh what fun we had!

After the bad start to my day, once we got the heck out of Dodge, things got much better!

The room was ok. The heart shaped jacuzzi was tolerable. We had dinner at a nice little place up there once we got checked in, then we walked down to Mackinaw Crossings and watched the laser light show.

The next day we spent most of the day checking out the shops at Mackinaw Crossing. Saw quite a few merchants products scattered throughout - Cutter & Buck, Yankee Candle, and a few others.

We scoped out a GeoCache before we headed home and deposited a Travel Bug into it, then went through Fort Michilamackinac since we hadn't been there in years.

We hit the road, had dinner half way home and picked up the kiddos once we got back and came home. Totally tired, but completely happy!
