Any issues with parasite ware here?

    TIA,

    2nd Try anyone?

How can I test to see if a company is parasitic?

Someone told me searchport.com does a drive by install with Gator.

Trying to find out more about Netvisibility or Searchport.

    TIA!

I was just checking out searchport. A gator download started.

I do a search, click "preview", a download tries to start, "searchit.asp". Every link I tried, this download started. I don't know if it's a plugin or what, but it doesn't happen when I checked it in Netscape.

I also found it curious that the search results pages that are generated, insert my IP address into every link.

Not liking their searchport very much.
