It's Frrrrrrreezing cold up here , too cold for snow - but I'd still rather be in New York !

Are you going to enjoy that burger locked indoors and away from those nasty Florida mosquitos , fire ants and lizards, or outside for a quick snack before the daily afternoon thunder shower ?

I mean it's actually snowing where i'm at now (the middle of nowhere) and i'm going outside to grill. I will be moving back to Orlando in a couple of months and from your description you know Florida well Hopefully it'll snow some more and stick so i can go sled down some hill and get in a snowball fight or two

I'd go out and grill a steak but it's -3 degrees and It would freeze before I made it in the house.

At this point in time I would opt for FLa. Waiting for the serviceman to come, furnace conked out and its 12 degrees outside right now

Power went out for a while today at -17F. Went out to our cabin on the lake today and dragged the kerosene heaters through the snow back to the van. May need them tonight if the heat goes off when it's down in the -30s again.

Still, I love it here. (as I keep reminding myself.)

Cazzie - Heat is not a good thing to be without today on Long Island - I hope you have your water on and running gently so that your pipes don't freeze up .

Trust - Yep, I know Orlando . I lived there for about seven years , and visited far too many times . Glad you're enjoying the snow wherever you are .

I love Ky Soooo much! Spent two weeks in NY and was very depressed. Loved getting back to the green grass and bright skys of home.

Today woke up to snow but still nice skys to look at. And, it won't be here long, just enough so the children know what it is.

Here, April showers truly bring May flowers. This is the way my world ought to be and needs to be, four full seasons of changing panorama with always something to look forward to.

I never wanted to be anywhere else and will never willingly live anywhere else.

Some of my greatest 'grill creations' have been while it was snowing...

And here I am complaining cuz we went all the way down to 0ºC (32ºF).

I guess I'm used to sunny Miami (where I grew up) and sunny Spain.

It's flipping FREEZING here in Florida! The temp's at 55 or so -- Way to Cold for me!

You know, when it's cold in FL it feels colder than when it's cold anywhere else. It gets in your bones and it's hard to warm up.

Anything below 75 deg. is Too cold for me.

    Awww (playing air violin)

Stand outside in Mich for 10 mins. and then try to post that with a straight face.

In fact, see if you can post at all with your fingers all numb from Michigan's "not as cold as Florida's 55," 21 degrees!

After playing golf 2 weeks ago and watching the snow start falling when I was leaving the course it was a balmy 69 degrees today when driving home from the course.

I'll take balmy, ice, snow anything!

We're sweltering in 95 degrees, even the tar on the road is like chewing gum and it's going to climb to the 100's again later in the week....Oh! joy

    Sounds wonderful!

And no, I'm NOT being sarcastic!

At least you can cool off by jumping in a lake or something. Here, if you jumped in a lake they'd need an ice auger to get you back out again...

I grew up in snow and I'll take a chance of earthquakes over freezing cold, snow and rain any day.

Beautiful in LA today. I was out all day in shorts and t-shirt.
