Does anyone have a list of all merchants that forbid the use of their name and links in a newsletter ( even opt in)?

This is too confusing! I was hope someone had a list somewhere they could share! I know you can't run CJ ( last word) any other merchants you cannot run? I am way overdue for a newsletter and am afraid to send anything, LOL!

    Thanks for any feedback!

Just send them a list of deals with a link to your site, no cj links.....

    Or send them to FlamingoWorld..

Yeah, its a pain.. We just removed all the signups for our newsletter and quit sending it out.. We've already received a few responses wondering why they haven't received one this year! Stupid spammers making life difficult for as all.

You can't put a link or name of ANY cj merchant in your newsletter ( unless you want to lose your CJ account ) but there are others as well, that is what I was trying to see, if someone had created a list to share and make our lives easier, ha ha!

Where is that posted, i must have missed it. I thought all you had to do was include a physical postal address. I just checked CJ, and i don't see anything new about it. You can use CJ merchants if you just follow the rules.

I never mention any merchants in my newsletter, and the only links I include are ones to pages on my own site.

That way, if it accidentally gets reported as Spam then I only have to resolve the problem with my host and mailing list sender, rather than with CJ and all the merchants.

Ok, Trust, I think I was confused, that one, CJ wanted you to include a phone number, but apparently they have removed that ( thankfully!) Thanks for the clarification. :0) There are some merchants who have sent out messages that their name could not be used at all, regardless. In fact Birthday Express closed their program in fear of this law. If anyone knows of merchants you specifically can NOT put in newsletters, please post!!

    Thanks again!
