What type of software package do you use? And what type of music do you love to build sites too?

I use Winamp for mp3s and get my music from Washingtonpost.com for free. Over 450 songs downloaded and counting.

I use Apple iTunes on my Mac to listen to music even if I'm working on the PC. I always boot up the Power Book and listen with headphones so that I don't wake my 18 month old son.

And for some reason I do my best work when listening to Pink Floyd. It's true offline too, I painted my house listening to PF and drove my wife crazy.

    Winamp

I use it for both MP3's and my newly found internet radio stations that winamp works with beautifully.
When I get bored of my MP3's or want a specific genre I use the straming radio. Most with no ads.

To those of you who use winamp, Do you use the DFX sound enhancer. I do and it is impressive. It made my computer speakers sound like my home stereo.

Me too. I LOVE it!! It helps me decide if there's some obscure artist I like or if I just want to listen weird music for one day or if I want to listen to my own cds. Plus, even though I hate Outkast, I love Hey Ya! and got my one freebie download...and now I'm happy.

I use both windows media default and realone player Listen to cds, hard punk, alternative, classical, everything... except jazz, country and rap...don't listen to those.

freedom, it's not freedom till you build a business model where you can leave and the commissions will still be there. :0).
