A family in Oregon found this fawn on their front steps and took this photo. The white spots on the steps are apple blossom petals.

As you know, deer naturally hide their fawns and go away for awhile. The
fawns have no odor yet, and naturally stay absolutely still.

    Isn't this an amazing photograph??

A great job of camouflage! The fawn stayed there all morning, (they live
in Bend, OR), and the mama came to get it after 4-5 hours. Kudos to the people that left the fawn alone,
    knowing mom would be back.

Exellent photo! I missed a great photo op a few years ago while visiting freinds in the mountains. On a cold night a deer found the plastic hot tub cover was a great spot to keep warm. After we heard a huge splash we ran out to fetch the deer from the tub.

Very cool pic!. Reminds of an incedent...

I live in the hill country outside of San Antonio. One very dark night I was out back with the flashlight looking for the dang cat when I got nail in the leg by something large (it smarted). When I got the flashlight down to find out what the hell hit me I saw a fawn. The dang thing head-butted me. I'm glad it wasn't a bobcat or coyote...
