    Okay, what is the best PC video graphics card available right now, and how much RAM can it hold? Assume RPGs, RTS and 3D shoot'em ups, as well as multi player gams (Ghost Recon etc) are the target.

    Nok wants a house extention so I guess a new PC with some serious hardware can be slipped in without her noticing

    I believe the Ati Radeon 9800 Pro is top notch.
    Not sure but I think it's available with 128 and 256 MB RAM.

    radeon 9800XT which I believe comes in 256mb versions.. get the all in wonder variant if you want the works (tv tuner, tv in and out)
