hmm I don't understand this, some of my main indys are converting into a check but it ends up decreasing each month, what can I do?

    example.

    month 1: $50 check

    month 2: $45 check

    Month 3: $40 check.

why is this happening with the same traffic and sometimes even more traffic? this is interesting. How do you prevent this from happening? and can you? just curious...

If you have a lot of return visitors to your site, it could be that your most loyal visitors have already bought and won't be buying again for a while.

    Hi Jason,

Are you checking your page stats for the merchants in question. You have such a large site that you may have the same number of visitors, but they may be visiting different pages.

Also check your logs to see what keywords folks are typing in to get to your site, and see if these are changing.

You might also want to try a new product mix to show off new spring trends and colors. It's also time to add spring and summer adjectives and loose warm and cozy.

    Just a few thoughts,

    Lily

Aunt lily, most people are searching though the engines with specific keywords. The keywards are targeted that I don't know how much better I can get. maybe I should add more colorful stuff for spring... thanks for the help.

    think pink jason,

it's the hot spring color. my husband and I spent valentine's day weekend walking around Boston. All the chic stores were featuring shades of pink in all their products.

I'm also a merchandising mgr at Barnes & Noble and we even have pink displays there now believe it or not.

    Best wishes, Lily

I run away when I see a pink web site. But then I am a tightwad so maybe it doesn't matter.

Jason, I just took a peek at your site from your sig. Spotted a little pink on the front page.

Keep working it. Colors are hard to mix without it appearing to be a little jarring.

They'll come and they'll buy if you keep tweaking. Good luck.

Add some pink flamingos and some purple monkeys, your sales will skyrocket.
