Ok, I think you can tell a lot by television interest.

If you had (or have) Tivo, what would it be recording for you?

(Ok, so I should work on pages but I am warped)

The only thing that would come close to persuading me to get a TV would be....

    Malcolm In The Middle.

    Two TiVos.

    Angel
    24
Hockey Night in Canada (I'm in the US)
    The L-Word
    Arrested Development
    Friends
    ER
    Scrubs
    Survivor
    Gilmore Girls
    The Shield
    Ellen (the talk show)
Regis & Kelly (but only watch the monologue for Kelly)
    Malcolm in the Middle
    South Park
American Idol (for fast forwarding through certain performers and filler)
The Amazing Race (when it's on)

I love, love, LOVE TiVo. I have a ton of stuff that I haven't had time to watch, but I like knowing it's there. I really don't know how anyone who watches tv can live without TiVo. I wish I could TiVo radio. My favorite morning show is on, well, in the morning starting at 6am. I rarely go to bed before 2, so I can't get up to listen to Mark & Mercedes. TiVoRaDiO would fix that. It must be invented.

    AAnnAArchy,

It has been invented already, I found two links for you on Google so go buy one now.

"The VersaCorder records up to four hours on one side of a regular 120 min. cassette tape or a 110 min. tape if you use the 6-event timer to eliminate commercial breaks. It’s perfect for recording and playing back talk shows,......."

"Replay Radio is an incredibly easy way to record radio broadcasts. It's like a "TiVo™ DVR" or VCR for the radio. Just pick your favorite radio show, or select a station and a time range, and Replay Radio records it for you."

Just send me my commission here since I don't have those merchants on my site.

So do you have home media option and do you share programs between the two tivos? If so, how well does that work?

I got own for my office at the Christmas, and liked it so much that I moved it to the family room for family use and when we have people over. I'm glad I did, but now I really, really miss having it in my office.

I don't know this technology, but I imagine that recording a radio broadcast by any of these means produces similar quality to streaming radio from the internet?

    That means, not 'hi-fi' standard?

Just trying to 'place' it in the scheme of things.

Sometimes, streamed radio is fine for me, other times, I want CD quality.

No, right now I don't have them networked. It's a future project. Now there's one in the main tv room and there's one for overflow shows in the bedroom. Usually, it isn't necessary to use the bedroom one, but it's nice to know it's there.
