Is there any data feed available from any Performics merchants? I know some of them are in CJ too and data feed might be available from CJ. I'll be interested to know if any of them has the same thing thorugh Performics as well. TIA.

There are datafeeds available from Performics, but in order to get them, you must pay in the neighborhood of $5000 (if memory serves correct.) Also, you cannot download the files from them. They either email them to you or they ftp it to your servers. From what I have witnessed first hand, the email can arrive at any time of the day. I've had them waiting for me first thing in the am and then I've been waiting for them late at night.

$5000 for what? Email charge? FTP charge? Are they crazy?

I was wrong about the price. It's $2000. I wrote them back after they told me the price and told them that they were funny and I really appreciated the joke.

...that's still laughable! Smart merchants would offer a private datafeed file outside of Performics. After all isn't the idea to generate the maximum amount of sales for the merchant, the affiliate, and the affiliate network...not just generate one time setup fees for the network?!

I am completely new to this datafeed thing. Is it true that you need to pay to use the datafeed, and are those $xxxx figures for one time only or is it per year?

Also is there somewhere on the web a manual, how such a datafeed works?

    Thanks.
